Hugglets tomorrow!!!

I am exhibiting at Hugglets tomorrow  which is a large teddy bear fair in Kensington London(Sunday 9th September 2012)

These are just a few of the bears that I will be taking along with me tomorrow.They are from a brand new design and are my "Smiley Bears" collection.They are all made from mohair and are just under 6 inches high.
I am in the basement on stand 101a so come along and say hello!

Just accepted an offer for a stand at Hugglets on Sunday September 9th 2012.
I will be in hall 3(the basement) on stand 101a.
Haven't done hardly any sewing for the last 2 months so have a lot to do and am hoping to have some new designs :0)

An excellent bear fair in Kensington London with hundreds of fabulous bears to choose from!

Had a great show over the weekend at www.teddiesworldwide.com and 3 out of 5 of my bears managed to find new homes.I have 2 left for sale and these can be found at www.laurieloubears.com

A few bears that are coming to Hugglets with me.Lilia is 12 inches high,Charlie is the dark bear and is 16 inches high and lastly Merton who is a new design for me and stands at just under 6 inches high.

Two big shows for artist bears

I am busy sewing at the moment as I have 2 big shows that are very close together.The first is Hugglets at Kensington on Sunday 26th February from 10.30 to 4.00pm where I will be down in the basement on stand 100.There are 100's of bears to choose from and this is the biggest show for bears in the uk.
The second show is the Teddies Worldwide online show and is being held on March 23rd to March 25th.There are 100 artists taking part in this show and all artists must have a minimum of 5 bears up for sale that have never been seen any where else before so what better excuse to come along and treat yourself!!!

British Bear Artist Awards... a hat trick!

I am so pleased to announce that I won three awards in the British Bear Artist Awards 2011.

Rufus my 16 inch bear won 3rd prize in category 4 for medium sized classic bears.

Norma my 5 inch elephant won 3rd prize in category 9 for furry friends

and finally Barnaby won 2nd prize in category 1 for undressed miniatures.

Sadly due to unforseen circumstances the British Bear Fair did not go ahead so I will receive my awards by post but the show is due to be scheduled at a later date!

I am so pleased to announce that I have 3 bears that are finalists in the British Bear Artist Awards this year.The finals are to be held at the British Bear Fair at Sandown Racecourse,Esher,Surrey on Saturday November 12th 2011.I will be having a stand this year so please stop by and say hello.

My bears and elephant that are in the finals are Rufus 15 inches,Barnaby 4.25 inches and Norma the elephant 5 inches.
